For five days Munich was all about innovations, inspiring meetings and intensive technical discussions. For those who did not already know: BAU is and remains the world's leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems. With around 2,000 exhibitors from 60 countries and tens of thousands of trade visitors, Messe München was transformed into the meeting place for the international construction industry. Orgadata was right in the middle of it.
Under the motto "We digitize together," Orgadata presented its pioneering solutions for window, door and facade construction in Munich. The focus was on the digitization of processes, innovative technologies and direct contact with craftsmen. "BAU is always a highlight for us. We show our innovative solutions in Munich and hold talks with customers, partners and interested parties," Paul Thyssen summarizes the feeling at Orgadata in a few words.
Orgadata's booth offered visitors a first-class experience: demonstrations with Logikal MES, the production control system for digital shop floor management, attracted numerous interested visitors. Logikal MES optimizes production processes, reduces costs and enables more efficient workflows - a topic that is alive and well in the industry, as the many conversations at the booth impressively demonstrated.
The new SimplyTag also caught the eye. According to Orgadata, it is like the icing on the cake of digitization for those working in window and door production and facade construction. Using a QR code directly on the element, manufacturers, customers and maintenance teams can access all relevant information - from CE certificates to maintenance history - digitally and paperless. "The SimplyTag impressed quite a few visitors. Especially the fact that it could be tried out on site met with approval," continued Paul Thyssen.
With a new format, the Logikal MES Masterclass, Orgadata put another accent. The concept: users of Logikal MES told about their experiences and how they work with the software every day. Besides fascinating insights, the masterclass also offered plenty of room for questions, discussions and exchanges between participants and experts. "Our special thanks go to the users who were so open and honest to share their experiences with us and the audience," said Paul Thyssen.
The acquisition of Orgadata by international software house Forterro, announced in November 2024, was also a popular topic of conversation at BAU. Despite the still ongoing official approval process, reactions were positive across the board: "Feedback from the industry has confirmed that we have found a strong partner in Forterro," explained Paul Thyssen.
And what about the party of Orgadata and its partners at the booth. Some 600 visitors took the opportunity to network and discuss the latest trends in a relaxed atmosphere. "The party was really a hit - with good schwung and ambiance, a real highlight during the fair week," Thyssen believes.
At BAU Munich, Orgadata demonstrated once again, how digitalization can be used efficiently and without problems in window, door and facade construction. The solutions presented, the intensive discussions and the positive feedback from visitors made this event another success. "We have gained valuable inspiration and are already looking forward to the next projects," concludes Paul Thyssen. "We would like to thank all visitors, partners and colleagues, as they made this fair an unforgettable experience. The goal remains clear: to make the construction industry even more efficient and sustainable through innovative technologies."
