The Klaes TürDesigner brings together the creative and technical worlds of doors in a modern, integrated software solution. Whether it’s wood, wood-aluminum, PVC, or aluminum: this software allows you to design exterior and interior doors down to the finest detail—from mail slots, door handles, and pull handles to decorative moldings and complex door panel designs.

Thanks to its integration into Klaes‘ industry-specific software, doors are priced, organized, and manufactured just like a ’standard” window, including all documentation, exact prices, production documents, and cross-sectional drawings. With the optional extension for solid door panels, front and interior doors made of wood and wood-aluminum can also be processed very efficiently. Surface and edge treatments are freely definable, and constructions can be fully defined in a single step. The result is a fully integrated process from concept to door, with all the data required for modern, industrial production.

Klaes CAM 2D: From Design Directly to the CNC Machine

As doors become more customized, production must be able to keep pace. Klaes CAM 2D connects the software program for window and door production directly to the CNC machine, without the need for additional coordination between the software and machine suppliers. Designs are imported from the Klaes environment, prepared in Klaes CAM, and are then immediately available for machining.

All machining operations are already visible on the screen in a realistic 3D view. The CNC programs are based on manually adjustable presets. The selection of units and tools, approach and retract conditions, and machining parameters—everything remains controllable and flexible.

This solution incorporates more than twenty years of expertise. As a result, the high data quality from the design phase is transferred directly to the machine. For door production, this means fewer errors, greater speed, and stable processes.

Klaes connectors: easy to configure – data flows automatically

In practice, a lot of extra work arises in areas where small processes are still carried out manually. A typical example is front door panels and complete doors that are configured using configurators from suppliers such as Rodenberg, OBUK, adeco, or PIRNAR. Prices, images, and descriptions must then be manually entered into the quoting software. This takes time and increases the risk of errors.

The Klaes connectors eliminate this interruption in the process. From within the Klaes software, the supplier’s desired configurator can be opened with a single click. There, the door panel or the complete front door is configured in the usual way, after which all relevant data—including prices, product information, item descriptions, and images—is imported directly into Klaes.

Price changes or text updates made by the supplier are automatically incorporated, ensuring that you always work with up-to-date master data. The entire order can also be processed electronically via openTRANS, through Klaes Material Management, or via the Klaes ordering system. Industry 4.0 in the door industry thus becomes part of everyday practice.
