Solutions for plastic windows and doors

Plastic (PVC) window frames have become a high-quality and versatile solution in both residential and commercial construction. Reliable turn-tilt technology

UNI-JET is the core of GU's tilt-and-turn technology for plastic windows. This innovative system is specially designed with high loads and long-term performance in mind and is SKG approved. Several variants are available within the program:

- UNI-JET D: visible hinges for heavier windows up to about 150 kg (depending on version);

- UNI-JET SCF: a fully concealed solution without visible hinge parts for windows up to about 160 kg (depending on the version).

Window handles and accessories

In addition, GU supplies a wide range of window handles and accessories for plastic windows. The collection includes both standard versions and lockable SKG-approved variants, creating a well thought-out total solution in which technology and appearance reinforce each other.

Powerful solutions for liftgate doors

Within this segment, for example, the HS LiftUnit offers clear added value. This integrated component supports the lifting of heavy lift sliding doors when the handle is operated and reduces the lifting force required by as much as 50%. Specifically, this means:

- significantly lighter opening and closing of large lift-slide elements;
- more operating comfort for every user;
- less mechanical stress on the overall system;
- maintaining smooth operation even at high wing weights.

The HS LiftUnit is fully integrated into the lift-slide system and can be used without major design modifications. This makes it an efficient upgrade for manufacturers of plastic lift-slide doors who want to combine comfort with technical reliability.

With GU's solutions, plastic lift-and-slide doors can also be equipped electrically. And a burglar-resistant ventilation grille and prefabricated barrier-free lower sill are also optional.
