Direct contact with the factory, without a dealer or other intermediary
‘You do it better yourself!’ That’s why Rotox decided in 2024 to establish direct contact with customers, without a dealer or other intermediary. Today, the machine manufacturer, headquartered in Brechen (Germany), is opening its own branch in Vichte-Anzegem (Belgium) to provide even better support to its Benelux customers.

Rotox was founded in 1970 and immediately focused on innovation, including the development of the world’s first corner polisher. Combined with the company’s experience and commitment to state-of-the-art technology in development and production, this drive for innovation has resulted in an extensive range of high-quality machines for all stages of window production: from cutting and welding to finishing, glazing, and installation.
“Rotox offers everything from manual machines to fully automated production lines: from a simple single-head saw, copy router, or welding machine, to double miter saws and corner polishers, all the way to automated profile machining centers and robotic systems. We also offer tilting tables, buffer racks, hardware assembly tables, and many other practical solutions. As a preferred partner of Pertici Industries, we also handle the distribution and service of their systems. This allows us to offer a suitable solution to ensure that every production environment—large or small, for aluminum or PVC—operates optimally,” says Vincent Vandevelde, manager of Rotox Benelux. “We have over five hundred employees spread across eight locations, accounting for 30,000 m² of production space. Our focus is on quality, precision, and flexibility—both in terms of our products and our service.”

For many years, Rotox operated through dealers, but management decided that starting in 2024, it would support customers directly, without an intermediary. After all, this creates a stronger bond of trust and ensures consistency for customers. Today, the German machine manufacturer is launching its own branch for the Benelux region.

“For the past two years, I’ve been working at Rotox as a business developer for the Benelux region, and that laid the foundation for this 100 % subsidiary, which is based in Vichte-Anzegem, near Waregem (Belgium). This building houses not only offices but also a showroom, a demonstration area, and a technical department,” the manager explains. “My technical colleague is responsible for machine service, and we can always rely on the expertise of specialists from Germany. We also maintain a large inventory of standard parts for all common Rotox and Pertici machines and handle the sale of used machines,” Vandevelde notes. “I myself have more than 25 years of experience in the industry, and my colleague has over 10 years. We know the market inside and out and can therefore respond flexibly to all possible requests. The requirements and preferences in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg differ somewhat from those in Germany—and even among themselves. Moreover, we can assist customers in their own language, which is an added advantage.”
Customers have confidence in German-made machines and really appreciate this local support. As a result, Rotox Benelux’s order book is already well-filled. “We therefore want to expand our team further in the near future. A new colleague recently joined the administrative team, and we’re looking forward to hiring a sales representative for the Netherlands,” Vincent Vandevelde concludes. “We’re also planning an open house, where we’ll introduce visitors to Rotox and Pertici’s technology through presentations and demonstrations—more information will follow shortly.”
