Deli Home increases its Benelux position in the production and distribution of sustainable, wooden building materials

Deli Home, Houtwerf and Distri-Hout join forces in Benelux

Deli Home, the leading manufacturer and distributor of wooden building materials, decorative interior concepts and doors has acquired a 50% strategic stake in Houtwerf in the Netherlands and will merge its Belgian operations with Distri-Hout. Houtwerf and Distri-Hout serve DIY retailers, building materials wholesalers and specialty stores and construction companies with sustainable, wood-based building materials. Timber Yard is known for its sustainable nature with a range of circular innovations including Powerplex Bio, the only high-quality plywood panel that contains bio-based adhesive and is free of toxins such as formaldehyde. The companies share a commitment to using only 100% FSC/PEFC certified wood, as the most sustainable and renewable resource. With this transaction, Deli Home strengthens its position in Europe in the field of sustainable wood products.
