New sliding system combines durability, quality and more

Architectural freedom for timeless results

Offering sustainability is a matter of course for REHAU. The trait not only runs like a thread through all the products offered, the company also feels a sincere obligation to take full responsibility towards future generations. Within Window Solutions, one of the company's five divisions, this happens, among other things, in the form of the plastic profiles with the EcoPuls product label. A welcome solution that is currently already composed of 75 percent recycled material and stands for a positive ecological footprint. Through SYNEGO SLIDE, that line will be continued. "With our innovative, sustainable products, we are making a positive contribution to the life of tomorrow," said Koen Schepens, active within REHAU as sales manager Window Solutions Benelux. "In addition, they excel in quality, another spearhead of our company."

Smart combination 

SYNEGO SLIDE makes seeing, feeling and experiencing a beautiful reality. First of all, the combination of unprecedented design freedom and a pleasant living environment ensures this. "The generous sliding system is characterized, among other things, by large glazed elements that form an organic connection between inside and outside as windows or doors," continues Schepens. 

"It is precisely this that architects and planners benefit from directly. The flexible systems are the perfect basis for modern architectural possibilities and new room and living concepts, among other things because the windows and doors can be opened parallel to the wall." 

But it doesn't stop there. By bundling trendsetting technology with its extensive experience, REHAU has simultaneously developed a product that excels in terms of tightness, resilience, ease of operation, security (SKG2) and, above all, durability. With regard to the latter, for example, the all-round seal and the innovative locking mechanism work perfectly together and provide an arrangement with very high airtightness, excellent insulation values and excellent sound insulation. At the same time, the elements measuring up to 4 x 2.6 meters fit harmoniously into the design of any room. Finally, the high sliding comfort ensures a pleasant living experience. 

Colors and surfaces

The new sliding system also meets the highest demands in terms of aesthetics and design freedom. "When it comes to colors and surfaces, we offer more than 400 combination options with the KALEIDO COLOR range," says Schepens. "So every wish can be fulfilled. An all-round laminated rebate optionally ensures a flawless and even appearance. In addition, we extend our view of design, design freedom and sustainability into the so-called High-Definition-Finishing Technology, or HDF for short. This not only results in very smooth and dense profile surfaces, with over 2,000 different shades from the KALEIDO PAINT program, the color choice is enormous. And durability is also the magic word here. This is because the paints are CO₂-neutral production, an initiative that has since been awarded the Cradle-2-Cradle Silver certificate. In short, choosing SYNEGO SLIDE is choosing unlimited creativity and a wide range of application possibilities. Classic white or black, warm wood motifs, a stylish aluminum look, glossy finishes, traditional foil or sprayed design: it's all possible."
