Window frame manufacturer and supplier Schipper Kozijnen and aluminum system house Kawneer have joined forces to offer a unique collection of aluminum steellook window frames especially for private homeowners. A cooperation in which quality and service are paramount. From October 1, 2022, Schipper Kozijnen will also supply its private customers with Kawneer's high-quality aluminum window frames.

The close relationship between the two companies goes back many decades. Together, several innovative projects have been realized in the business market and in the coming years the cooperation will be further intensified. The new and unique collection of aluminum steellook window frames are available for every desired style of living and in every imaginable color. They have the same sleek and slim appearance as steel window frames, but are also durable, energy efficient and low maintenance. Whether customers want an authentic, an industrial or a completely modern look, the new steellook collection offers the solution.
To offer homeowners an optimal experience of aluminum windows and doors, Schipper Kozijnen's showrooms in the Netherlands are being outfitted with the new Steellook collection. With Kawneer's modular aluminum systems for windows, doors and sliding doors, it does not matter what the starting point of the design is, whether that is aesthetics or functionality. The modular system is designed so that regardless of the functional features, the exterior design remains the same for a unified facade appearance.

Kawneer, part of Arconic, is a global player in the field of aluminum windows, doors and facades and market leader in the Netherlands. From its headquarters in Harderwijk, some 150 employees work on the design, development and sale of aluminum profile systems and serve the Benelux, Germany and Austria, among others. Kawneer has more than 40 years of experience in the Dutch market and these years of knowledge and experience are reflected in the wide applicability and high quality of the products. In addition, there is a special in-house test and training center where Kawneer performs tests and measurements on the (existing) profile systems and also provides customer training. All this to guarantee quality for the customer.
Schipper Kozijnen started in 1969 as a small family business and is now a nationally operating organization with stores throughout the Netherlands (Opmeer, Amstelveen, Gouda, Zwolle, Groningen, Leeuwarden and Katwijk) It employs over 220 people. From the main location in Opmeer, plastic and aluminum window frames, doors, sliding doors and dormers are made in our own factory. The company has its own assembly department and maintenance and repair service. For the production of sliding doors and dormers, Schipper has been working with De Verbinding for more than 10 years. In this unique factory, deaf and hard of hearing employees make high quality products.
