Fixscreen Solar the solar-powered renovation screen

Fixscreen Solar the solar-powered renovation screen

Large windows provide quite a bit of natural light indoors. And that's all well and good, but last summer proved once again that there is also a downside. Overheating is lurking around the corner if you do not take measures to block the sun before it reaches the glass. Thanks to the Fixscreen Solar this can be done very easily even with existing windows, without cutting, breaking or electrical work.

The Fixscreen Solar is a wind-resistant screen to be placed in front of the window. This type of cloth awning works - thanks to a solar cell on the front of the box - on solar energy, without electrical wiring. This means that it can be mounted on any window easily and without breaking work, up to a maximum of 10.8 m². This makes the Fixscreen Solar the perfect solution for renovation or installation on existing homes to prevent overheating indoors in the future.

The compact solar cell can be placed either on the left or right side of the cabinet. The screen comes standard with a radio-controlled motor and the battery is located in a tube profile under the case. Both motor and battery are easily accessible.

Dynamic fabric awnings such as these not only ensure pleasant indoor temperatures in the summer, but at the same time also allow you to continue to save optimally on heating costs in the winter thanks to the sun's ingress.

Robust, useful, versatile:

Renson's vertical screens are made of solid extruded aluminum profiles and aluminum castings and equipped with Fixscreen technology. They are available in all RAL colors up to a maximum width of four and a maximum height of three and a half meters with fiberglass and polyester cloths, PVC-free cloths or blackout cloths in numerous structures and colors. With external fabric sun protection, sun rays are blocked even before they reach the glass, but in addition, vertical screens also provide protection against insects when closed.
