The assembly of the profiles is simplified by stable corner connectors for frame and glazing profiles."

Because the door hinges and strike plate do not require milling, the door leaf can be used on both the left and right. The frame can be fitted with toughened or laminated glass doors (8 to 10.76 mm) with a rebate depth of 24 mm. Bouwman recommends the matching two-piece glazing profiles for connecting frame and fixed glazing. "During assembly, the glazing is held in the upper glazing profile in one piece and thus protected from tipping. The two-piece glazing profile, which is mounted on the floor and wall, consists of a base profile and an insert strip that then secures the glazing with a wedge seal. It couldn't be more secure."

The ALVA self-closing corner fitting is an important basic component for top-quality glass doors. "It is among one of the best systems in its class," continues Bouwman. "The hydraulics for the self-closing function are housed in the slim hardware itself."

In ALVA, the top corner hardware has the same dimensions as the bottom hardware. This results in a sleek and harmonious whole. Furthermore, the infinitely adjustable closing speed and latch ensure maximum walking comfort. The combination with Patch elements produces a sleek and tasteful glass wall.
