Strong booking stand and value-added content program
The security sector is clearly positioning itself: even months before the start of the fair, Security Essen 2026 is already noting high demand from the business community and a correspondingly strong participation of exhibitors. Trade visitors can expect a complete market overview, bundled innovative strength and ideal conditions for networking and establishing business contacts from September 22 to 25 at Messe Essen. The ticket shop is now open; tickets for the trade fair are available at www.security-essen.de.
Numerous companies have secured early participation in Security Essen, sending a clear signal for visibility and market engagement. Both major system providers and specialized manufacturers, start-ups, industry associations and organizations are represented. They reflect the full spectrum of the security industry - from mechanical security systems, access control and video surveillance to fire protection, alarm systems, cybersecurity, networking solutions and services.
Hall 7, with its focus on fire, intrusion and security systems, is now fully booked. In Hall 6, which focuses on solutions around mechatronics, mechanics and systems, only a few stands are still available. “The exceptionally high interest underlines the importance of personal meetings and technological innovations for the sector,” said project leader Julia Jacob.

In doing so, the fair creates targeted leads for all relevant audiences - from security service providers and industry to government agencies and critical infrastructure operators.
In 2026, Security Essen will also give a major strategic boost: for the first time, the Euro Defense Expo (EUDEX) will take place simultaneously at Messe Essen. This new trade fair focuses on players from the defense industry and underlines the growing importance of security and defense issues in Europe.
The exhibition area around civil defense and civil defense connects the two events in terms of content. This creates new interfaces between civil security, defense, governments and armed forces - and thus an extensive network for decision-makers from both worlds.
Additional international attention will be given to the exhibition complex by the simultaneous annual conference of the NATO Joint Air Power Competence Centre (JAPCC), for which high-ranking military representatives are expected.
Tickets for Security Essen 2026 are as of now available online. A day ticket costs 49 euros. The fair is open Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
