Schüco presents novelties at booth made of recycled materials

Schüco optimizes energy efficiency during the production process, reduces CO₂ emissions and avoids the use of natural resources. It is thus committed more than ever to sustainability and circularity. The window and door specialist is taking these themes further at Polyclose, where its booth is partially made up of recycled booth elements. Schüco is exhibiting several products there. For example, the Demo Truck provides an overview of the various window, door and façade solutions such as the thermally insulated ASE 80 sliding and lift-slide system, and the Internet of Facades (IoF) is the digital identity of each Schüco element. In addition, Schüco Digital's online services make the life of the installer easier and Schüco is working on the smart facade of the future.

Circularity in booth design

For many years, Schüco has been developing quality products based on the philosophy that they can be easily recycled, upgraded and repurposed. In terms of developing, testing and certifying unique cradle-to-cradle products, Schüco is a leader in the industry.

This line of thinking was at the heart of building the booth at Polyclose. Schüco went to stand builder Creaplan with the request to use as many recycled materials from other stands as possible. The result is a spacious and robust booth made of various recycled materials such as wood and steel. In addition, the Demo Truck, a mobile showroom, the most important products from the portfolio of aluminum window and door systems.

Schüco's window, door and facade solutions meet the highest requirements in terms of design, comfort, safety and durability. ASE 80 combines these aspects in one sliding and lifting sill system. In the barrier-free version, the sill is recessed into the floor, extremely user-friendly for every resident. In terms of aesthetics, the barely visible profile enhances the panoramic feeling. Schüco is also showing solutions with FINEO vacuum glass that meet the highest design, comfort and durability requirements.

Schüco-Digital: simplicity for the processor

In addition to the products, Schüco focuses on the digital solutions that significantly support the life of the processor. This in every stage of the process; from inspiration to design, through planning and calculation to processing and even control and operation. The online portal Schüco Connect provides the ability to easily enter orders and track them in real time. Via MyWorkplace the processor consults tender texts, CAD files, catalogs, software and other resources.

With the product database and integrated planning software SchüCal, architects and planners will find all product solutions and information around facade, window, sliding systems, blinds and doors through one central platform.

Smart facades and Internet of Façade

Schüco Smart Building and the SensTrack Wireless is the story of connected facades through sensors. All Schüco elements in the facade are connected to each other through sensor technology that collects not only valuable product information, but environmental and usage information. Read here more information about smart facades.

"Internet of Facades (IoF) is a software that provides the basis for digitizing all information, documents and processes throughout the life cycle of each Schüco element such as installation data, maintenance information etc. This data is stored in the cloud and is always accessible. Each element has a unique digital identity with a built-in cycle counter so that the circular value is always known and the CO₂ footprint is reduced," says Joep Römgens, head of engineering Belgium & Luxembourg at Schüco.

Practical information
