With summer just around the corner, Bohle—a leading manufacturer of glass hardware, tools, and consumables, among other products—has some sunny news to share. “In addition to our tried-and-true, all-glass VetroMount® balustrade system, we’re further expanding our range of system solutions to include new baluster systems, floor glass clamps, and point holders,” says General Manager Frank Bouwman on behalf of Bohle Benelux. “These additions significantly expand our customers” options. They work in any construction or installation situation without compromising on quality or ease of installation.”

In the field of glass balustrade construction, the German family-owned company Bohle covers a wide range of construction principles through its extensive product portfolio. It is precisely this versatility that consistently translates into high-quality and flawless results in practice for balustrade builders and end users alike. With Bohle, everything fits and works perfectly, anytime and anywhere. Regardless of the required system depth, applicable project requirements, or customer preferences. From minimalist, transparent, all-glass balustrades to classic baluster constructions and point-fixed variants: the extensively tested solutions make virtually anything possible. “By further expanding our product range with various professional components, we’re giving even greater substance to the concepts of freedom of choice and customization,” emphasizes Bouwman. “And that’s a welcome added value for our customers. Many of them indicated that they wanted to source more balustrade components from a single supplier. We were happy to accommodate that request.”
The new balusters in the Bohle line not only excel in quality; thanks to their wide range of applications, they also give installers greater flexibility during installation. Take, for example, the stainless steel baluster systems. These compatible products are specially designed for floor or side mounting and are available in both V2A and V4A grades. “This innovation is characterized not only by its functionality, durability, and aesthetics, but also by its installation-friendly details, such as pre-drilled posts,” Bouwman summarizes. “Extras like clamp fasteners and handrails round out the package.”

Bohle’s new floor glass clamps make it possible to install balustrade systems without any glass processing. Depending on the model used, they can support different glass thicknesses. At the same time, installers are assured of efficient installation, a clean finish, and a highly stable attachment. For special or non-standard applications, such as pool surrounds, Bohle also offers a version made of Duplex 2205 stainless steel. “A highly corrosion-resistant material that more than proves its worth in such an environment,” says Bouwman.
When point-mounted balustrade applications are required, Bohle completes the line extension with a range of versatile, flexible point brackets. These include various adjustable models, including even a 360º version. Bouwman concludes: “That last one, in particular, makes installation and alignment—for example, on uneven surfaces—a breeze. Moreover, this model offers extra tolerance during installation.”
