Management Changes at Reynaers Aluminium, Roval Aluminium, and Forster Nederland

Niels Beerens succeeds Edgar van Ginkel as managing director of Reynaers Aluminium, Roval Aluminium, and Forster in the Netherlands.

After 38 years, Edgar van Ginkel will be leaving the Reynaers Group at the end of this year. His successor is Niels Beerens. He will start on September 1 and, on January 1, 2027, will assume full leadership of the operations of Reynaers Aluminium, Roval Aluminium, and Forster—the three companies within the group that operate in the Dutch market.

Building a strong position in the Netherlands for nearly four decades

Throughout his career, Van Ginkel was a driving force behind the continued development of the three companies, which in recent years have grown into well-known premium brands and market leaders in the construction industry in the field of aluminum and steel systems for windows, doors, facades, and roofs.

“It’s truly special to look back on 38 years in which we’ve built so much together,” says Edgar van Ginkel. “I’m proud of the people, the customers, and the brands that made this possible. I’m very much looking forward to passing on my knowledge and network to Niels over the coming months.”

Experienced successor with a proven track record in the industry

In Beerens, the group has chosen a successor with a solid track record in industrial leadership. He most recently served as Managing Director/CEO of the AVZ Group in the Netherlands, where he led a multi-brand organization in the window covering industry and guided the company through a period of significant growth and an ownership transition.

The four-month period between the start of employment and the actual handover allows for a thorough onboarding process. This ensures continuity for employees, customers, and partners.

“I’m really looking forward to becoming part of the Reynaers Group,” says Niels Beerens. “Reynaers Aluminium, Roval Aluminium, and Forster have an excellent reputation in the Dutch construction industry. The strong partnerships really appeal to me. The coming months will indeed be all about meetings and knowledge transfer. Above all, I plan to listen closely to what colleagues, customers, and partners consider important in our collaboration. That is the foundation for further growth.”
