These are just a few of the assets that make Van Beveren a leading player in the field of aluminum exterior joinery. The family business from Hoves develops, produces and delivers the high-quality materials for aluminum windows, doors, sliding windows, conservatories, curtain walls and carports for each project of their professional partners. All systems are tested and certified, for example in terms of acoustics, burglar resistance and water tightness.

At Van Beveren, they have carried quality and service for 60 years. For many professional clients at home and abroad, the company has become a regular partner for all aluminum exterior joinery. "As 100%
Belgian family business, we keep the lines of communication short, allowing us to respond quickly and flexibly to customer requirements. Our 30,000 m² site is divided into a storage area for profiles and a production area with
state-of-the-art machinery. We also have our own workshop for insulating aluminum profiles using fiber-reinforced polyamide or Noryl strips and a paint line with Qualicoat standards. All our systems are additionally tested on our own certified test bench," says technical department manager Philip Stevering.

"We have an extensive network of manufacturer experts, who can count on the support of our technical specialists. By the way, they also help designers, architects, promoters and contracting companies who want to integrate our systems into projects. Our partners can also use the Van Beveren software to quickly and easily calculate their projects and automatically control their sawing and machining centers."

Everything for the aluminum exterior joinery industry

Professional customers can turn to Van Beveren for the most diverse window systems: from an uninsulated system (A50) to solutions for renovation projects (B70), low energy buildings (Optima 70, Ferro 99 and Stream Design) and even passive construction with the extremely sophisticated and slim system B85.

"Furthermore, we offer our partners a wide choice of sliding windows, such as the innovative Super Slide 55 (Thermo) lift-slide system, the Super Slide Ferro with a steel-look and the S20 full-glass sliding window," adds David Borghs, technical account manager for the Netherlands.

"Thanks to our 'Comfort Close' system, you can, for example, close sashes weighing up to 200 kg and release them at the end, because the element closes automatically. In turn, the 'Soft Lift' system improves operating comfort by slowing down the handle during opening."

With MR50, Van Beveren offers an elegant solution for curtain walls and, depending on the application and customer requirements, there are also several solutions for conservatories and canopies: Skyhome, Verazur, Veratop, Easycover and Quick Cover.

Scoring high on burglar resistance and water tightness

Van Beveren attaches great importance to the technical characteristics of the systems. Therefore, all systems are thoroughly tested in its own test center. One by one, they score top of the class in terms of
of acoustics.

"The same goes for burglar resistance. We know from analyses that a delay of 3 to 5 minutes is enough to deter most burglars. Aluminum is challenging to pierce or force through anyway, but by combining it with burglar-resistant hardware, such as anti-theft hinges, lockable handles, multi-point locking devices and security against lifting sash windows, our systems are at least class RC2/WK2 tested and certified, even class RC3, if required," Stevering and Borghs conclude.

The company continuously invests in optimizing its production process with high-quality machining centers and automation solutions.

"Waterproofing is also important. Category 9A according to standard NBN EN 12208 guarantees the necessary watertightness for buildings in coastal areas up to 50 m high, but for our windows this is only the starting point. For example, the Ferro 99 and Optima achieve class E1650 and E2100 respectively, and the B85 was tested and found to be watertight up to an equivalent wind speed of 216 km/h. (E2250)."
