With the new ARTEVO entry door solution, REHAU Window Solutions once again underscores its value as an innovative market leader and all-in-one partner. At the same time, the introduction of this premium door variant is a great addition to the ARTEVO platform and a further expansion of the company’s harmonious family of window and door systems. The ability to further combine this new product with an advanced access system—developed in collaboration with NUKI—is a welcome icing on the cake.
The REHAU ARTEVO front door puts a big smile on the faces of both users and installers. This solution stands out thanks to its efficient manufacturing process and offers maximum design freedom. In addition, the door can easily be equipped with various integrated, intelligent features and truly deserves the label ‘sustainable.’ “With our 360º performance, we guarantee window and door specialists that the system does what it’s supposed to do, excels in efficiency, and is flexible in its application,” says Koen Schepens, sales manager for REHAU Window Solutions Benelux. “At the same time, this comprehensive approach allows us to clearly distinguish ourselves from the competition and continue to grow—even within highly competitive market segments.”
One of the innovative features of the new front door is the enhanced stability of its construction. By using the premium material RAU-FIPRO X (a combination of fiberglass reinforcements and enhanced steel reinforcements), unprecedented strength is achieved, and minimal thermal deformation is guaranteed. These advantages make door leaf dimensions of up to 1,350 x 2,500 mm achievable and render the door system suitable for escape and panic door applications.
The new ARTEVO front door is also characterized by high energy efficiency and excellent thermal insulation. “While the frame profile of the standard version already achieves the best score in its class at 1.1, the optional use of Low-E technology takes it to an even higher level at 0.90,” said Schepens.
In addition to the advantages mentioned, installers have the option of equipping the new front door—currently the most electrified and smart-featured component within the building envelope—with additional functionalities. These include cable ducts that can be opened at a later date for a variety of purposes. In collaboration with NUKI, the European market leader in smart access solutions, we’ve recently made a flying start on this initiative. “We have developed a smart and easy-to-install access control system that can be used with any profile system. This profile-independent solution truly helps our customers and partners move forward. And end users will also greatly appreciate the result of our pioneering work,” says Schepens.
“The module connects directly to the electronic lock. This allows the user to gain access via the local Wi-Fi network using a smartphone—and therefore without a key. The integrated Matter connectivity also ensures that the doors are compatible with all common smart home systems.”
