As a visitor to Polyclose, you can learn not only about the innovations in the field of window, door, façade and sun protection systems, but also about the latest versions of the software that can help you as a manufacturer to make your production more efficient, productive and profitable. Software house Orgadata will present update 11.4 of the well-known Logikal software and give visitors a glimpse of what the future holds with the presentation of some of the strengths of the new Logikal 12, which will be released later on the market.
The latest version of Logikal offers a lot of strengths that allow the metalworker to produce his products even faster and more efficiently.
"We have made the program even more efficient in many areas," stresses Alexander Benesch, head of product management at Orgadata. "Our designers have paid a lot of attention to further increasing the quality and performance of the software and, in addition, have also improved the
capabilities expanded."
Some examples of new functions: certain elements, such as escape and panic doors, can be made even safer and fittings can be defined even more precisely. The creation of quotations can now also be done more flexibly, and the topic of glass has been addressed to make the customer's life easier. For example, working with special glazing has been simplified and databases exist for glass balustrades and railings - elements widely used in modern architecture. In addition, users of the software can explain the special aspects of each construction to their customers more quickly and accurately.

At Polyclose, Paul Thyssen (center) and his colleagues will provide customers with information about the innovative developments within Logikal software.
During Polyclose, visitors can also get to know the future of this Logikal, as Orgadata is giving them a glimpse of further developments, which will be brought to market later with the major update Logikal 12. With this version 12, for example, the construction and calculation program will change in appearance and the user-friendliness will also be further improved. "The new look and feel will make working with Logikal even more pleasant," they say at the software house already. "Everything will be even clearer with new icons, which will make it even easier for the user.
Furthermore, Orgadata is also highlighting 'Logikal MES' (Manufacturing Execution System), the ideal extension for Logikal, which digitizes, optimizes and controls the different steps in the production process of windows, doors and facades, thus completely modernizing workstations. With this software, the efficiency of mass production will also be possible in the production of single pieces and emphasis is also placed on paperless production.
'Logikal Mes' practically visualizes the entire shop floor with the individual phases a workpiece passes through during production. The system gets the information for this from the work preparation in the Logikal software. There are touch screens at each workstation, on which the operator can read exactly what needs to be done. Thus, all data are available in the right place at the right time. Man and machine know perfectly what to do to manufacture the products exactly as the customer wants them.
