Will Turboflex become the new standard?
With a three-day event in Emmerich at the end of February, OnLevel went all out for the market launch of Turboflex, the new mounting system for glass balustrades. From February 25 to 27, the company welcomed dealers, metal companies, glass companies and other interested parties from home and abroad to not only show the innovation, but above all to let them experience it for themselves. This practical approach immediately contained the core of the launch: Turboflex was developed for the realities of the construction site.
During the three demo days, everything revolved around ease of assembly, speed and control. Visitors were given the chance to try out the system for themselves on a special test track in the production hall, where Turboflex was placed next to other systems. With this, OnLevel emphatically chose not to introduce the system based on technical claims alone, but rather to offer a spectacular live experience in which installers could immediately feel the difference in practice.

Turboflex is the successor to Flexfit and, according to OnLevel, the next step in the development of modular glass balustrade systems. While previous systems were already better compared to traditional solutions, in practice they still ran into familiar assembly problems: time loss due to alignment, limited tolerance for deviations in glass thickness, difficult adjustments and extra handling in hard-to-reach places. It is precisely on these points that the new Turboflex now makes the difference.
The essence of the new system is that instead of the glass having to conform to the profile, the system adapts to the position of the glass. Thanks to an internal turning mechanism, flat contact is created at the right point, allowing for more precise and faster work. This makes it easier to align panels by hand, even in tight work situations or when a technician is working alone. Moreover, the system can be adjusted from the user's side, which offers clear practical and safety advantages on balconies and edges.

According to Iwan Oude Luttikhuis, director/owner of OnLevel GmbH, Turboflex is the result of years of development based on signals from the market. “Our work starts on the basis of a wish list that arose from the many conversations in the market.”
That development approach is in line with the questions that are broadly prevalent in the market today. Labor is scarce, pressure on planning is increasing and failure costs must be reduced. Iwan: “In such a context, attention shifts from just profile price to the total assembly performance on site. That is precisely where we position Turboflex: as a system that reduces installation time, limits repair work and brings more predictability to the process.”

The format of the event also underscored that message. The first day focused on the existing dealers from Europe, the second on the customers of customers from the network - thus: mostly end users - and the third on new prospects. In doing so, OnLevel made it clear that Turboflex is not only relevant for large players, but can also be of interest to smaller processors and assembly companies that have to do more work with fewer people.
The very well-attended introduction in Emmerich thus showed more than just a product launch. OnLevel presented Turboflex expressly as an answer to a broader market demand: assembling glass balustrades faster, safer and with more grip. And that is precisely what made the atmosphere during the three days so strong: it was not just a promise on paper, but an innovation that had to convincingly prove its worth on site: a new reality on the construction site.
