The team of Kruba from Baarn will also be present at the Fensterbau Frontale 2026 in Nuremberg (D) from March 24 to 27. The machine supplier for the frame and profile industry does not have its own stand. Niels and Cees van Essen explain that they are mainly present at the stands of their suppliers Urban and Thorwesten. “That's where we like to have the conversation. But, we also have plenty of opportunities to meet our customers at the stands of Italian Pertici and German Graule.
The two are looking forward to their trip to Nuremberg. After all, the feeling is good. “When we put our ear to the ground in the market, we hear that many of our customers are also going to make the trip to Germany. So there is - it appears - a great need to know what is new and what is the state of the art in terms of technological innovations,” says Cees.

For example, Niels and Cees tell us that the company Urban will present and demonstrate at the booth a seamless welding machine with new modifications for Dutch profile systems. In doing so, the men Van Essen dwell on the AKS 9610. “This one is also suitable for the HVL welding joint and the straight bevel welding joint,” Niels explains. “Moreover, this welding machine is additionally equipped with two welding aggregates for butt welding of an intermediate post.”
Urban also shows a CNC dual angle machining center. This is additionally equipped with a multi-spindle drilling unit for drilling the holes to serve the hinges. “In addition, the Urban team at the booth will have the opportunity to tour the other Urban machines via a digital platform. “Thus, visitors to the booth can see what a factory furnished by Urban looks like via a 3D presentation.”

Cees explains that Thorwesten's focus during this show will be the presentation of an ASZ sawing center, a PBZ machining center and a newly built - or rather, an improved version - BSZ steel sawing center. “These three machines form a coupled version to a complete sawing and machining center,” said Thorwesten.”
At Fensterbau Frontale 2026, the Italian machine manufacturer is presenting an aluminum cross-cut saw for different slopes and an automatic sawing center. “If visitors want to see these, it's actually very simple: give us a call and we'll come straight to the Pertici booth,” says Niels.
Of course, visitors will find the various crosscut saws at Graule's booth. “Think of hand-operated, a milling and cutting-out saw and machines for intermediate posts.
Cees and Niels have a feeling it's going to be busy. “Everyone wants to automate. There is still scarcity in the labor market everywhere. Every company is looking for efficiency or opportunities to deliver the same production with fewer people,” Niels says. “Still, we put a caveat to that. Ultimately, you also need to be able to hire people to manage and operate the machines. That will be the challenge in the coming years.” When asked whether AI will play a major role during the fair, Cees and Niels are unanimous. “Nobody is denying the opportunities but still we don't think there is a big focus on AI during the fair yet.”
