Trendy wood and black accents

Wood design in its finest form

The popularity of wood as a building material continues to grow. Polytec's Art Decor-line series expresses the charm of earlier times, according to Drijver: authentic, natural and original. 

"This is wood design in its finest form! In this series, wood textures running in two different directions give a lively and natural effect. The V-grooves in deep black (RAL 9005), contribute to a beautiful accent and give a special depth effect. The result is a friendly, inviting entrance with a natural and very high-quality appearance."

With the door panels in the LIGNUM series, the company goes one step further. "Real wood gives a very special feel-good appearance due to the natural colors, the structured surface and the unique grain of the material. This also applies to the LIGNUM model 6497-89 (see photo) with its striking real oak surface in a trendy vintage look. The name LIGNUM stands for a collection of high-quality and exclusive door panels with a real wood surface made of oiled oak and a rustic old-wood look. The typical characteristics of fine grooves and knots enhance the unmistakable character of old wood. Each LIGNUM door panel has a unique grain and texture. This makes each panel truly unique." 

With its natural look, Polytec says the LIGNUM series appeals to both real wood and vintage style enthusiasts.

Finish in industrial black.

Matte black is the trend these days, it gives the front door an industrial character. Therefore, both the refined lisens and the narrow butt plate are now also available in matte black RAL 9005. 

Says Drijver, "The black lisens are recessed into the panel making them easy to maintain. These modern front door panels with tough looks meet all requirements in terms of functionality and design, aesthetics, durability, energy efficiency and safety. Also, all door hardware is available in the matte black coating for the finishing touch of the front door."
