Self-adhesive tapes ensure the joining of materials. The double-sided PE foam tapes in the range of specialist tesa® are characterized above all by their ability to compensate for irregular surfaces, guaranteeing high adhesion even to rough surfaces and excellent shock absorption. With the tesa® 65620 InvisiBond Safe Lift a single-use removable double-sided PE foam tape equipped with a versatile special adhesive. This ensures that the tape adheres firmly to sensitive surfaces. The unique concept also guarantees the user, that no residue or damage is left behind upon removal. The adhesive on the left side was specially chosen for demanding surfaces, such as rough wallpaper or paint.
"Experience tells us that the biggest disadvantage of conventional foam tapes only really becomes apparent when one has to remove them. Especially on sensitive surfaces, for example painted walls, damage then occurs. This is why we invested in developing a solution to avoid this problem. The result is the InvisiBond Safe Lift (tesa® 65620)," states marketing & communications manager Jonas De Backer.
"This tape with a proven revolutionary adhesive enables secure and firm adhesion to a wide variety of sensitive surfaces. The product's unique design also allows the user to remove the tape again without damaging the material. During removal, the PE foam splits cohesively, leaving tape residue on both sides of the bonded products. These residues can then be easily removed without damaging the surfaces. By choosing an increased weight of adhesive coating on the left side, the end user can use this product safely, even on demanding surfaces, such as rough wallpaper or paint."
The tesa® 65620 InvisiBond Safe Lift has a total thickness of 2000 µm and is characterized by a tensile strength of 12 N/cm and an adhesive strength of 4 N/cm on both steel and PE. This double-sided PE foam tape is ideal for a variety of applications, including bonding decorative elements to walls, mounting sound absorbers in offices and applying temporary signage, ..., just to name a few.
