“It was a beautiful and rewarding year! And that promises a lot for the future!” said Henk Weber and Didier Holslag from the headquarters in IJmuiden.
RenoS9000® is born!
In the first months of 2020, the groundwork was laid; the launch of the RenoS9000® later in the year, in collaboration with Gealan. “If CEO Ivica Maurovic of Gealan had not believed in our concept of this renovation profile, we would never have been able to develop and roll this out so nicely,” Henk says. “The quality of his mold making department is perhaps the highest in this entire market segment. As a result, never before in the history of our existence have we been able to bring a profile to market so quickly and so successfully. The RenoS9000® is actually unmissable since this year.”
In the summer of this year, KUFA Window Systems succeeded in the first pilot with the RenoS9000® successfully completed. This was done in cooperation with PTC Kozijnen and Bouwgroep Dijkstra-Draisma at 26 homes in Grootegast where the residents also quickly realized the benefits of the RenoS9000® discovered. This profile - especially for the renovation market - has the main advantage of eliminating demolition work, which also significantly reduces the amount of waste. The profile consists of two parts. There is a patented locking piece, to finish the inside nicely. It fully complies with the sustainability requirements that are now in place, which also increases subsidy opportunities.

In a beautiful YouTube video, KUFA Window Systems explains how the RenoS9000® works.
Of course a look ahead to 2021! ‘The market will continue to grow’
Last year, readers of Profile were already offered a small glimpse of Kufa Raamsystemen' second production site under construction. This one is also located in IJmuiden.

Henk Weber: “We expect to be able to fully start up in the first quarter of 2021. We are now busy training our employees; we are of course going to work there fully digitized and automated. So there will be a big efficiency gain. As a result, we will be able to use the RenoS9000® even further into the market. We also expect to be able to deliver much more turn-key to our partners as a result. Our product range will therefore become much broader. This is no superfluous luxury in current times, because I expect that half of the Netherlands will still be working from home by 2021 and that, as a result, there will continue to be a focus on the quality of the home environment. More than ever, consumers will want to continue to make improvements to their own homes. The market will - I estimate - continue to grow.”
