From the collaboration between Franz Schneider Brakel GmbH + Co KG and renowned architects Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez, a new handle program has emerged: FSB 1285. In this new product family, restrained elegance meets sleek stature. Its timeless design convinces with carefully crafted details and offers homogeneous solutions for versatile interior applications.
With FSB 1285, Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez have shaped an object family with an elegant design language that allows formal consistency through many application scenarios. FSB 1285 hereby offers a reinterpretation of verkropte door handles where the transition consists only of a slight adjustment of the radius between door handle neck and handle. In so doing, the hardware manufacturer's latest design combines minimalism with carefully crafted technical details. Originally developed for a hotel project, the program meets the highest technical requirements for fire-resistant and profile doors in premium quality. For Antonio Rodriguez, designing a product for FSB finally fulfills a wish: "The high quality of the products meets our own design requirements. This is why we are pleased that we have finally been able to put our own design into practice together with FSB as well." In addition to door handles for profile, timber and glass doors as well as for emergency exit barriers to DIN EN 179, the new product family includes classic window handles and recessed handles with reduced rosette for doors and windows as well as a door handle for timber doors. FSB 1285 is available in aluminum and prepared for FSB ASL® and AGL® bearing technology.
