Kawneers barrier-free aluminum door offers comfort to highest balcony

With the new barrier-free aluminum door, Kawneer makes a passage accessible and comfortable even at height. The construction has a wind and water tightness of 600 Pa, making the door come into its own even at the top of the tallest building. In addition, the appearance of that same building increases, thanks to the aesthetically pleasing appearance of the door system.

Kawneer's new barrier-free aluminum door contributes to the latest standards for future-proof construction with its durable features. For example, the door can be constructed from Kawneers profile systems RT 72 Reflex, RT 72 HI+ and RT 82 H+. Each offers excellent insulation values, making the aluminum door suitable for buildings with Passive House requirements.

Unique middle frame speeds up assembly

No matter how sustainable the contribution, the assembly of a door system must obviously go smoothly. So that too has been considered, says Jeroen Boersma, Product Manager at Kawneer. "The door system is lightweight. That ensures easy and fast assembly, as does the unique all-round center frame. Moreover, that same middle frame provides sufficient assurance of sealing."

Break-in resistant in multiple designs

Kawneers barrier-free aluminum door is equipped with Kawneer's reliable hardware and is burglar-resistant according to NEN 5096 class 2 and EN 1627 RC2 standards. Moreover, there is the choice of a version that turns inwards or works as a tilt-and-turn system. In the latter case it is possible to ventilate the rooms behind such as bedrooms.
