EVVA: Klaus Halbfas new head of the Operations business unit

Family-owned EVVA has appointed Klaus Halbfas (53) as the new head of the Operations business unit on Feb. 1, 2025.

He thus complements EVVA's expanded management at the Vienna-Meidling location. He will play a key role in the strategic direction of the EVVA Group and in this context will assume responsibility for the operational guidelines for all production sites of the manufacturer of mechatronic access solutions. He will report directly to EVVA's managing director/CEO, Stefan EhrlichAdám.

With a strong technical background, he began his career in a leadership position in the manufacturing sector of the automation industry. Klaus Halbfas has also worked in metrology, building hardware, ventilation construction, automotive, electronics and security industries and as a Start Up Advisor. Meanwhile, he has more than 25 years of experience in building and optimizing business processes in both family-owned and large enterprises.

In his role, Klaus Halbfas is responsible for the entire production of EVVA, including the areas of mechanics and electronics, production, Global Industrial Engineering and logistics & procurement. Due to his diverse professional background, he also brings valuable expertise in the areas of operations, restructuring, quality management and change management. With this, he will provide a lasting impetus to optimize business processes and strengthen the company's market position.
