Access all important information around window, door or facade directly online

At the end of April, the construction industry was once again present at BAU Munich. The fair was also a hit for Orgadata. Their Logikal software is used daily by window manufacturers, door manufacturers and facade builders around the world to plan and produce their products. The numerous visitors came not only from Germany, but also from many other countries worldwide. Naturally, the latest version Logikal 12 was prominently featured. However, there was another star, namely the SimplyTag, with which all information around a window, door or facade can be consulted directly online.

Roman Koller, active for Orgadata in German-speaking Switzerland, described the successful fair as follows: "We could finally feel the market and the schwung again. It was like being able to organize a family reunion again after a long time." He also received several window manufacturers, door products and facade builders from his area, who were introduced to the Logikal 12 as well as SimplyTag, a digital solution that was actually already known to some industry representatives under the name Datasafe. According to Koller, this new product is like the icing on the cake of digitalization for those working in window and door production and facade construction. Many visitors at BAU have already ordered this innovative solution and thus taken advantage of the great trade fair offer. Moreover, these conditions remain valid even after the fair for those who want to use SimplyTag. This makes the step into a new era particularly attractive.

SimplyTag

The market expects a lot from this digital solution, but what does it actually stand for? SimplyTag ensures that all information of building elements can be consulted directly. All production data are linked to a window, door or facade. Thus, they can be retrieved via a QR code and password. This QR code is unobtrusively and simply affixed to the element. If one scans the code and enters the password, one gets direct access to all important data of this specific element via an app. Among other things, this is very interesting for CE marking and, in time, for maintenance and repairs. 

"If a window breaks, for example, one no longer needs to be on site to measure everything. After all, through the QR code, one can find all the information of the window: which glass, how wide or high, and so much more," Roman Koller says. "That data comes automatically from Logikal. Logikal

Naturally, the Orgadata booth was all about Logikal. Logikal is and remains the software a professional uses to digitize the production of windows, doors and facades. This software supports all phases: from idea and design to finished element. The added value: Logikal is not tied to any specific manufacturer and offers the largest database of profiles, fittings and accessories on the market. As mentioned, thanks to Logikal, people around the world are successfully producing windows, doors and facades. 

During BAU 2023, visitors were able to get acquainted with the latest version Logikal 12. Orgadata also highlighted a number of special solutions within Logikal, such as, for example, the BIM module. Thanks to this module, cooperation between window manufacturers, door manufacturers and façade builders on the one hand and architects and specifiers on the other is significantly simplified and improved. In this latest version of Logikal, the Orgadata team has also optimized the tool for the U-value calculation of windows, doors and facades. This is also confirmed by a recent certification by the IFT Rosenheim. Another innovative addition is the production control system Logikal MES, which controls and digitizes the various processes on the shop floor as well as enabling secure and paperless production.
