Sor Kozijnen invests in new machinery

"The Turkish machines are functioning above expectations," says Harmen Bosma, director of SOR Kozijnen in Lelystad. "In early 2021 I had nine months to get the company ready for production. I came into contact with Dennis Koning and quickly gained confidence in Tryma and the products they sell. Together we turned it into a nice project and now we are running at full capacity and we are also the showroom for this type of production line in the Netherlands. 

SOR originated from Tarion, a family business with many years of experience. With SOR frames, a new branch has been established. The company is ambitious and ready for the future. Harmen Bosma: "For example, as SOR Kozijnen we are fully circular and I see many more opportunities. We can capitalize on that now because the first year we had to become operational, then stabilize the process and now we can scale up and bet on efficiency."

Harmen Bosma chose machines from Ozgenc Makina of Turkey through Tryma. "These machines were price-wise very interesting for us." Dennis Koning of Tryma confirms that the price-quality of these machines is very good. "The labor costs are lower than in Western Europe. It is therefore a logical step to have the production done there. We have been to several factories in Turkey but none are on the same level of quality as Ozgenc Makina. The manufacturer therefore fits the Dutch market very well. And, also very important: the technical support is fantastic."

SOR frames visited the factory in Turkey with King. Bosma:
"Ozgenc Makina manufactures in a region where many high-quality car manufacturers, such as Renault, Hyundai and Toyota are located. It is a modern factory with good working conditions and a customer-oriented approach. Of course, I want as few breakdowns as possible. If there is something it is followed up quickly. My experience is very good both with Tryma and with the manufacturer."

"For Tryma, this partnership means that we can help customers become even more productive," King continued. "Because of the relatively low investment, customers can take the step to fully automatic machines sooner. There is a great need for that now with tight labor markets."

That's why Window Technology also chose a machine from Tryma. "I needed a lot of people for the output I had in mind, that was not realistic and something had to change. That's how I ended up with Tryma's machines," says Jurgen Rensen, director of Window Techniek. 

The company in Zelhem has been a household name in the world of window frames for more than twenty years. Venster Techniek delivers over a thousand under sills for wooden and plastic window frames per week. The customer is the central focus. 

Rensen: "During my search for an automatic line, Dennis Koning showed me this machine in a leaflet and my interest was immediately piqued. Fortunately, I was able to see the machine in Belgium. Later I went with Dennis to the factory in Turkey. I had no idea what to imagine and was pleasantly surprised. Ozgenc Makina, like us, has a down-to-earth approach and the customer comes first."

The machine in Zelhem is now running at full capacity. "Of course there have been some minor teething problems. I have never experienced anything else with machines of this size. But mutual trust and good communication is important then, and I have experienced that with Tryma. That is why we are in talks with Tryma for the purchase of a second machine. And they are also more than welcome to show this machine to other customers.'
