Alphacan, now part of ALPHAPRO Group, a company based in France, has been present in Italy for 50 years. From there, Alphacan supplies technically perfect and very tasteful profiles to the frame industry in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and America. We speak with Eduardo Jiménez, General Manager of Alphacan and Export Sales Director of ALPHAPRO Group, who has already prepared the move to Northern Europe.
"Our biggest market is France, because of our origins," says Eduardo Jiménez. "With more than 60 years of experience in PVC window frames, the time has come to plant our flag in the rest of Northern Europe as well. We are constantly expanding our market worldwide. The Netherlands and Belgium are now on the list for us. Alphacan's main sales market is now France, Italy, Central and Southern Europe and the Balkans."
How does the company deal with the different needs and demands of local markets? Eduardo Jiménez: "We don't take any risks. Of course, we already know from research that our product perfectly suits the needs and requirements of the Belgian and Dutch markets. But we go one step further, by developing adaptations that 100% suit local market needs."
Despite the fact that Alphacan profiles are fully compatible in the Benelux, the company has developed a special Dutch profile. "That frame is fully adapted to the construction method and insulation used in the Netherlands and Belgium. Of course we know that in Northern Europe the temperature, wind and water conditions are different. The frame has been adapted to that," says Eduardo Jiménez. The result is a Dutch window frame with Italian allure that will appeal to lovers of technology and design.
"We have been familiar with the Polyclose trade fair for several years and finally in this edition we have the pleasure of introducing our systems to the Dutch and Belgian markets for the first time. Our main goal now is to increase awareness of the Alphacan brand. At the fair, visitors can get to know our company and our products. We will be happy to show and let them experience Alphacan's systems and decoration proposals."

There are trends in geometry and colors, which are not only observed by Alphacan, but often set. "Today's end user is fashion conscious and demands quality. Now let Alphacan be good at both factors. Our frames are technically top notch, the price is competitive and the profiles are easy to work with. The finish is really different, with more color and detail," said Eduardo Jiménez.
"We want to offer a perfect match and have always been pioneers with new decors. Today the key word in the window industry is differentiation."
Even custom decoration can be provided to define the look of the product to create a unique window. "We provide custom printing on the PVC profile. In addition, we were one of the first PVC suppliers to accomplish total lamination of the PVC. With our own trend watchers composing our color collection and the ability to print everything imaginable, we uphold Italy's good name as a design country."
