Presentation of second Preferred Supplier Of The Year Award | Gealan wins awards

At the Bouwbeurs in Utrecht, Gealan received the Preferred Supplier Of The Year Award from Henk Weber, director of Kufa Raamsystemen, at a festive gathering.

This is the second time the cup and accompanying certificate were awarded. Gealan had come to Utrecht with an extensive delegation. CEO Ivica Maurovic was obviously visibly pleased. "Gealan has proven with a young fresh management to be open for innovation and to have a visible eye for a processor like us: it also allowed us to grow and excel further," says Henk Weber.

Mark Beukert, Gealen's Country Sales Manager Netherlands, has nothing but compliments for Kufa Window Systems. "We experience the organization as a party with which we can work well and constructively," he says. "The market is also satisfied; we notice that from the reactions of the end users. Kufa Raamsystemen is very valuable to us because they are able to respond well to the ever-changing conditions in the market. Together, we expect to achieve a growing market share in 2019. Not only in the area of renovation but also for the processing of a complete product. We have both seen well that consumers are looking for convenience. Plastics are increasingly coming to the top and so we are responding excellently to that with our profiles in good cooperation. We also see a steady growth of Realwood^® foil. So there are plenty of opportunities for the coming year. And, for years to come."

Pushing Forward
Robert Tänzel of Gealan, responsible for Sales in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Belgium, Luxembourg and also the Netherlands, is pleased with the cooperation that has lasted for 10 years. "We see that Kufa Window Systems never stops. They are a party that values the credo 'Pushing Forward'. In addition, we see that the Dutch market is one of the most positive in Europe. Whereas consumers in other countries are sometimes a bit hesitant, consumers in the Netherlands always want innovation. By keeping a close ear to the ground - which is what Kufa Raamsystemen does - we always succeed in delivering what is needed. Perhaps this is even due to a characteristic that is very much part of the Dutch: they say what they want. They say things very directly. So do the people at Kufa Raamsystemen. That is pleasant to work with."

When Robert is asked how he experiences the Bouwbeurs in Utrecht, he himself, incidentally, is very  clear. "You have to come here with a plan. Otherwise you lose your way. It's definitely interesting but I still sometimes miss some specialization. It's pretty general what I see here."

Diversity
Henk Weber himself, of course, has compliments for Gealan in turn. "I think that in recent years they have not always chosen the easiest way when changing the profiles. But it did work; they surprised us with this and they stimulated us with all kinds of points for improvement. In particular, the diversity of colors available in the profiles appealed to us. Also, the fact that the organization always works in line with the market and can switch quickly. This is also necessary in the market in which we operate. In the past year - and actually also in the years before - Gealan has proven to be invaluable to us. That's why it makes sense that the Award now goes to them!"
