Polyclose 2026: unmissable trade fair for window, door, sun protection, facade and access technology

From January 14 to 16, 2026, Ghent will once again be the meeting place for everyone active in window, door, sun protection, façade and access technology. Polyclose only takes place once every two years, making it the appointment to be completely up-to-date in a short period of time. With more than 200 exhibitors from all over Europe, firsts in acoustic comfort and climate control, new insights into sustainability and digitalization as well as the launch of the PolycloseSummit, the 22nd edition promises to be an inspiring update for the entire sector.

Polyclose: international and multifaceted

Since its first edition in 1991, Polyclose has become the reference fair in the Benelux. Today, over 200 exhibitors from more than ten countries bring together the latest technologies. During the previous edition, more than 12,000 professionals visited the fair, of which more than a quarter were from the Netherlands. This makes Polyclose the crossroads for manufacturers, system suppliers, installers, joiners, specifiers and architects from more than thirty countries.

Focus themes 2026: today's and tomorrow's challenges

In addition to the wide range of products and systems on offer, Polyclose 2026 is placing additional emphasis on four current themes that will determine the future of the building envelope:

1. Prevent overheating - textile blinds, smart façade systems and automated controls keep buildings cool.
2. Acoustic comfort - with acoustic glass, sound-absorbing facade insulation and quiet ventilation.
3. Sustainability and circular economy - innovative insulation materials, modular construction, reuse and longevity are key.
4. Digitization and intelligent facades - from access control and integrated energy management to smart monitoring.

New: the PolycloseSummit

For the first time during the fair, the PolycloseSummit organized: a knowledge platform on the show floor itself, featuring:

• Previews - a dynamic overview of innovations presented by a professional host.
• Labs - hands-on sessions with concrete applications and cases.
• Sessions - panel discussions and lectures with experts on trends, regulations and visions of the future.

Participation is free and is a valuable addition to the fair attendance.
