One stop shopping in the field of door hardware and sanitary accessories... With 20 years of experience, Erik van Geijn started CK Design in 2006, to provide the market with purely quality products. With success: the company has acquired the agencies of big names such as Anemostat, Olda, Planet - ASSA Abloy, PBA, Krona-Koblenz, Mega, Strenger, Wagner-Ewar and DAN DRYER. It also carries a complete range of quality products under its own banner, CK Design.

"We never stand still and closely follow market demand," Van Geijn begins. "We have expanded our own stock with, for example, glass door locks, glass door handles, door buffers and hinges. A fast delivery time is guaranteed."

New acquisitions with resounding names

One of the latest developments is the acquisition of Planet, the Swiss manufacturer of trap doors, by ASSA Abloy. "Because we are an agent for Planet - ASSA Abloy, we are thus seeing a broadening of our product range within the market. Another development is the fact that we have the agency for DAN DRYER, hot air dryers from Denmark. A strong brand, well represented in the hospitality sector," said Van Geijn.

Showing color

To achieve more unity with suppliers, Van Geijn decided to have the color of the CK Design logo and general brand restyled. "We went from red to blue, matching the Planet and ASSA Abloy brands. We now have a new brochure and price list in the marketplace, with a focus on door hardware for glass doors. We have developed new products under our own label and are working on more new product developments. We do this not only for ourselves, but also for our customers and suppliers. Because we work very closely with them, it becomes easier to find solid solutions to problems that both customers and suppliers encounter. This is why we see our business relationships as partners, because we like to put our shoulders to the wheel together."
