In Adegem, Belgium, sleek design was the standard for this newly built single-family home with office space. The argenta invisidoor DL and SDX interior door systems fit the bill perfectly. Especially the room-high SDX sliding doors catch the eye ... or just barely.

In addition to argenta's (23 single and 2 double) invisibly integrated Invisidoor DL swing doors, the aluminum door frame of the 7 room-high argenta invisidoor SDX sliding doors is also completely invisibly integrated into the wall.

"This leaves a wall opening rather than a door opening," architect Danny Plaetinck explains his choice of sliding doors that disappear completely into the wall when opened. The argenta proslide sliding door hardware that serves this purpose can be used on interior doors weighing up to 100 kg. Via the removable upper profile, the roller systems and stops can be mounted and dismounted easily and quickly. The hardware is attached to the door via Manual-Fix, resulting in a very minimal space between the door panel and the upper profile. This results in a very sleek design.  

New: Invisidoor 'S', the sliding door in the same plane as the wall

When closed, the door leaf of the Invisidoor S (with the 'S' of 'Slide') falls perfectly even in the same plane of the wall in which it is embedded. This makes it completely invisible on one side of the wall, making even a handle unnecessary. When opened, the door leaf slides away into the wall: a space-saving feature that also characterizes all other argenta pocket doors. The groove left in the wall with the sliding door in the closed position is thereby sealed by a moving cover profile.

This sliding door system is usable for wooden sliding doors up to 40 kg and comes standard with a "softclose" and "auto-eject" system for easier operation. All parts of the incorporated door hardware are always easily accessible for disassembly and adjustment. Recently launched, the invisidoor S from argenta has already grabbed an international award: the iF Design Award. Invisidoor S impressed the 67-member iF Design Award jury, consisting of independent experts worldwide, with its technical ingenuity and aesthetic innovation.
