Intelligent control of ventilation ensures ideal indoor climate

However, it is not easy to ventilate spaces correctly. If that ventilation is done automatically based on needs, that is already a big step forward, because users do not have to intervene themselves. With the LSF 24/LSF 230 controllers in combination with the MS multi-sensor and electrically driven motors, HAUTAU offers a solution with which windows open and close automatically depending on time of day, temperature, relative humidity and weather. Controllers

HAUTAU's ventilation controllers can operate both 24 V and 230 V drives. With a button, smartphone, wireless connection or auto-adaptive infrared remote control, electric chain drives, skylight opening systems and other mechanisms are operated, regardless of whether it is a skylight, a window over a door or a turn, tilt or tumble window.

Factors such as air quality, humidity, weather or time of day are not taken into account here. If one expands the system with a wind and rain sensor, hygrostat, thermostat or time module, users have a fully automatic ventilation solution. 

The automatic air freshening function helps users to have windows automatically close in the event of rain or wind. Or, they open when the desired indoor temperature or humidity is exceeded. However, the focus is always on people and their individual habits when it comes to ventilation. In addition to controlled natural ventilation (CNV), forced ventilation can also be configured at freely selectable intervals.

Multisensor

These LSF 24/LSF 230 controllers can be combined with the multisensor HAUTAU MS. It continuously measures room temperature, relative humidity and CO₂-content in the air. If these values deviate from the preset parameters, this sensor adjusts the opening and closing frequency of the windows. The values can always be adjusted to the individual needs of the user using the push buttons on the sensor. 

The recorded air quality values are continuously displayed on the sensor. Users can still operate the system themselves with a button and, of course, open and close the windows manually. Optional sensors, connected to the building management system, allow the windows to close automatically in the event of rain or wind. 

The multisensor can not only be combined with HAUTAU smoke extraction and ventilation systems, but can be coupled brand- and system-independent to all control systems with a 24V input. Since no additional button for ventilation is required here, costs are saved. 

The system can also be integrated into existing installations. Thus, this climate monitoring system mainly ensures good air quality in intensively used rooms, such as schools and nurseries. This ensures an optimal learning environment, the health and comfort of students, teachers and educators. In addition, demand-controlled ventilation has a positive impact on energy bills and also thinks about the environment.
