High-quality interior and exterior finishes: from wood, aluminum or plastic

For more than 25 years, Groenlo-based Progé has been known as a competent partner around the implementation of innovative new construction and renovation projects. With an extensive range of ready-to-use and film-coated quality products, the company has everything you need for a suitable interior finish. With the recent acquisition of the Belgian company Colormatics, Progé is now also well sorted when it comes to smart and high-quality exterior applications. These products are perfectly in line with the company's vision, making construction projects even more efficient and significantly reducing the labor intensity during the installation phase. 

Since 1997, Progé has been more than complete when it comes to interior finishing products made of wood. A glance at the website shows in all its glory the wide and varied assortment, which includes, among other things, reveal edging, casings, window sills, pipe ducts, set frames, skirting boards, sandwich panels and cladding. These are products that excel in quality, reliability and durability. A real plus is the finishing with a protective foil, available in various colors, or a finish with which the company, led by owner Ruud Geurkink, has made a difference for many years. 

"We can apply a robust, functional and often decorative film coating to any component within our delivery program up to a width of 120 centimeters," he says. "This not only raises the appearance, the pleasure of use and the service life of our products to a higher level, it also provides considerable efficiency. Not least because you no longer need a painter."

Widening

While Progé originally operates mainly within the Netherlands, the recently acquired Colormatics focuses on the Belgian market with a variety of aluminum and PVC exterior finishing products. The merger opens new doors for both companies: to unexplored markets, a larger geographic reach ánd the possibility to expand their activities.

"Thanks to the acquisition, we are both able to broaden our offer both in terms of material and product type, thus completely relieving the customer," Geurkink believes. "Moreover, by sharing the mutual expertise, we can make great strides in terms of innovation and product development. An aspect that has traditionally been woven into our philosophy anyway. At our company, we really enjoy sounding off with other companies and coming up with new applications. Even if they do not link directly to our core business." 

Result 

The promising one-two between Progé and Colormatics has already led to tangible results, it turns out. "During the last BouwBeurs in Utrecht, we officially and successfully presented Colormatics' aluminum cladding," says Geurkink. "As part of the Colorwall program, this variant is a nice addition to our own Progelit cladding products composed of solid wood. But it doesn't stop there. Looking toward the future, we are busy developing a program of plastic cladding elements. For example, we are planning to produce a plastic facade flashing as soon as possible. In short, when you talk about functional, sustainable and money-saving finishing products for inside and outside, we are not sitting still. Regardless of whether the customer wants them made of wood, aluminum or plastic. We are at home in many markets and can meet just about any demand."
