Häfele Free Space wins Red Dot Design Award and Interzum Award

Starting next fall, Häfele Free Space will appear on the market; a revolutionary concept in flap hardware. This very compact flap hardware requires an installation depth of only 63 mm. From an aesthetic point of view, this makes the flap hardware less conspicuous and it can also be used in shallow cupboards.

Despite its attractive, compact design, it is capable of opening valves from 1 to nearly 11 kilograms with very little resistance. Assembly is also incredibly fast thanks to the pin system combined with a pre-installed screw. The three-dimensional adjustment ensures that the valve is always correctly adjusted. The Häfele Free Space has received both a Red Dot Design Award and an Interzum Award.
