Duco shows novelties during Renovation 2019

The world of renovation never stands still. Especially when it comes to ventilation regulations. Starting next year, we no longer work with the calculation method EPC, but every new construction becomes BENG. With new construction, it is easy to prepare the home for the BENG measures. But how do we approach making the more than 2 million homes to be renovated more sustainable? During trade fair Renovation, you will discover the total solution for ventilation in both residential and commercial construction at Duco's stand.

Insulation is ventilation
"When renovating your home, occupant comfort comes first, including adequate insulation," begins Hendrik Dejonghe, marketing manager at Duco. "Thorough insulation not only reduces the energy bill, but also ensures that no more heat is lost After the building envelope, it is then the turn of the ventilation system. After all, insufficient attention to ventilation has negative consequences for air quality. Bad for your health and, of course, for your newly renovated home!"

Renovation and replacement market
"A good renovation therefore requires ventilation," Dejonghe continues. "Everyone with construction or renovation plans has quite a few questions and is looking for objective answers to them. You can get those answers at the Duco stand during Renovation. Our advisors will be ready to guide you through the maze of regulations, standards and obligations involved in the building or renovation process. Do you have a ventilation box older than 15 years that still runs on alternating current? Then it is smart to replace it with a new ventilation box that works on direct current. This saves energy and it's better for the air quality in your home."

Window ventilation
"At our booth, visitors will be able to learn about our complete range of fresh air supply ventilation grilles, including the EasyFit 50," Dejonghe reveals. "The EasyFit 50 is the ideal ventilation solution for wooden window frames and lends itself perfectly as a renovation grille. The seamless connection to wooden window frames ensures maximum air-tightness."

Optimal acoustic comfort
"Our mechanical ventilation boxes DucoBox Silent and the DucoBox Eco will also have their place on the exhibition floor," says Dejonghe. "The All-in-one package with the whisper quiet DucoBox Silent, on the one hand, is extremely suitable for renovation. After all, this extraction fan ensures that moist and/or polluted air has no chance of remaining in the home. All this without major chopping and breaking work, with a view to relieving the installer of as many of his or her worries as possible. The ventilation heat pump DucoBox Eco on the other hand ventilates naturally and compensates the further energy needed with fresh outside air. Distinctive from other heat pumps is the patented 2-zone control."

"Actually, it is simple: Duco wants to meet every renovation project and offer a future perspective, both in the short and long term," concludes a delighted Dejonghe.
