Renson's Fixscreen fabric awning is 15 years old and this was celebrated at Polyclose. As the first cloth awning of its kind in which the cloth zippers securely into 2 side guides when lowered, the wind resistance (in any position) of this type of outdoor awning took off in one fell swoop.
So it is done with flapping and torn screen fabrics! Even insects have no chance of getting inside when windows are left open at night for intensive ventilation with the fabric down. The Fixscreen technology was later the basis for numerous new developments for windows up to 22 m².
With the launch of the Fixscreen Minimal, Renson offers an answer to the increasing demand for post-installation of fabric awnings in recent new build houses and renovations with "minimal windows" where installation of fabric boxes and side guides "behind impact" in the façade is no longer possible. A more compact fabric box for areas up to 18 m², together with a smaller bottom rail with invisible welding seam and side guides only 20 mm wide, ensures minimal impact on the façade.
The super sleek finish with side guides without visible screws, foot plates and inner guide of the side guides made of aluminum and painted in the same color as that of the side guides, also ensures that fabric awnings are hardly noticeable from now on, even with post-installation.
