MACO, founded in 1947, is a leading global player in window, door and lift-slide hardware and provides innovative system and security solutions. In addition to traditional mechanical building hardware, such as the widely used turn-tilt system, networking with electronic components plays an increasingly important role.

As a driver of innovation, MACO distinguishes itself with future-oriented technological solutions. In 2018, the family-owned company underscored this vision by opening a research and innovation center at its Salzburg headquarters. With the strategic acquisition of the German company HAUTAU GmbH, MACO further strengthened its strong position in sliding systems and window automation.

With 2,400 employees worldwide, including 1,700 in Austria, the MACO Group operates from six production sites and 15 sales offices. MACO proudly carries the Austrian state seal of approval "Family und Beruf and career" and offers a work environment where career and family life are balanced.
