Spotlighting innovations in locks, cylinders and electronic locking technology

Comprehensive presentation at Polyclose

WILKA Schließtechnik GmbH was founded in 1865. More than 150 years later, the company has become a leading player in the field of locks, cylinders and electronic locking systems. The drive for innovation runs like a thread through the history of this family business. At Polyclose, they are once again unpacking a number of innovative developments, such as the (self-regulating) multi-point locks with escape door function from the 8000 series and the new electronic hardware.

The electronic systems can be operated very easily using the easyApp on the smartphone.

In addition, mechanical cylinders, including SI6 and 3VS, will be showcased and attention will be paid to software packages, such as easyApp, for operating electronic locking systems.

Electronic hardware - individualized design and intuitive operation

The new electronic hardware from WILKA makes rooms extremely convenient to access while increasing security. Thanks to its flexible integration into the various WILKA software platforms easyAccess, easyApp, easyBasic and easyHotel, this hardware ensures a high level of security in offices and hotel rooms, as well as for doors in private homes and the most diverse projects. At the same time, the hardware can be operated intuitively and easily by any user. The individualization of each design, such as the application of one's own logo, the choice of different door handle variants and the shape of the hardware, allows integration into existing design concepts.

Multi-point locking with escape door function

In addition, WILKA is expanding its range of locks for profile doors to include single- and multi-point solutions for single and double-leaf escape doors. New are the series 8000 multi-point locks with escape door function: the series 8600 with key operation and the series 8700 self-locking models.

Mechanical cylinders

WILKA offers the right cylinder for every application. These SI6 and 3VS are highlighted extra.

Also in the field of mechanical cylinders, WILKA offers the right solution for every application: from standard cylinders over cylinders in the customer's own profile or as a locking system, to high-security cylinders. At Polyclose, the manufacturer is focusing on the SI6 master key system as a conventional/vertical system and 3VS in the reversible key system. The special key copy protection guarantees the owner that only the desired keys for this system are in circulation. The systems are available in all security levels and thus suitable for both the front door of a home and also for complex locking systems of a commercial building.

Controlling locking systems through an app

Cylinders, readers and identification media such as transponders, cards or smartphones make up WILKA's product range. This includes numerous electronic locking systems, which perfectly meet all set requirements. The company also offers various software packages, such as easyApp, for operating the systems. This smartphone solution, available in Android® and iOS® versions, can be easily downloaded by the user and is suitable for the front door of a single-family house, but can also be used for the entrance doors of smaller commercial or office premises.

As an additional security criterion and to confirm programming via smartphone, easyApp cylinders must be equipped with a programming card. A smartphone can manage small systems (up to 25 doors and 250 users) and assign access rights individually. The last thousand events (access, unauthorized access attempts, programming operations) are documented with date and time in the cylinder and can be accessed via the smartphone.
