Advanced profile processing machines from Italy

Designing and manufacturing top quality machining centers for the profile processing sector has been Emmegi's specialty since 1970. While in the beginning the emphasis was mainly on the construction of sawing machines for the Italian home market, over the years the product range grew into a diverse set of high-quality machinery. Anno 2021, with a global market share of 20%, the company has become a progressive and innovative manufacturer of a variety of machines, including CNC-controlled machining and sawing centers. Solutions that are still manufactured entirely in Italy and excel in quality, reliability, ergonomics and design. 

New CNC machining center

One of Emmegi's latest inventions, the five-axis CNC-controlled machining center Comet R6 I, will be heavily promoted during Polyclose. 

"This fully enclosed machine, equipped with a 24-inch touch screen with innovative interface, can handle machining lengths of up to 7 meters," Vanneste said. "Partly because of this, it is the ultimate in five-sided machining of profiles of up to 250×250 millimeters. In addition, the independent motorized clamps make commuting a child's play. The apart movable clamps make it possible to cut first and then machine the ends of the cut pieces. At the fair, we will be happy to inform our visitors about the numerous possibilities of this top-of-the-line machine. Furthermore, we will present the qualities of its smaller brother, the 4-axis Comet S4."

Benelux subsidiary

After operating there for more than 25 years through a reseller, Emmegi has been present in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg with a subsidiary in its own right since October 2021. As Emmegi Benelux, the subsidiary in the area is responsible for all products in the Emmegi program, both in terms of sales and after sales. Paul Vanneste, a well-known professional within the Dutch and Belgian market of automated window and door production, leads the new branch. "Besides further increasing our brand awareness, we want to serve the geographic submarkets optimally. That can only succeed if you are present locally and as close as possible to your customers," Vanneste explains the launch of the Benelux branch.
