The 30th anniversary of the EVVA site in the Czech Republic was celebrated with a festive opening of the new production site together with EVVA partners, employees and a delegation from Tišnov town hall.

With the new plant in Tišnov, EVVA is bolstering its expansion plans and consistently implementing its Power Plant strategy. The associated investments bring EVVA much closer to its goal of developing excellence. The three production sites defined for this purpose are the new building in Wienerberg, which will be completed by the end of the year, the modernized production facility in Krefeld, Germany and the new Green-Field building in Tišnov. In the future, the so-called satellites for the production of customized and flexible requirements will be located on-site at the respective EVVA sites.
The ultra-modern new building "in the greenery" is about 600 m² larger, covers an area of about 1600 m² and thus enables the production optimization pursued in all Power Plants. As part of this, activities previously outsourced will in future also be carried out in Tišnov. By the end of the year, all machines and production lines will be finally installed and set up. Then the production of access systems for the Czech Republic and Slovakia will follow in the new EVVA Tišnov plant. "Our employees can look forward to a very attractive working environment and we will be able to welcome our partners and customers to a very prestigious production site from now on," said Martin Koudelka, head of the EVVA site in the Czech Republic.

Due to its strategic importance and modern design, the new plant is another milestone in EVVA's success story, which was celebrated at the same time as the 30th anniversary of the EVVA branch in the Czech Republic. In the opening speech of an atmospheric gala attended by numerous partners, customers and employees, EVVA Group CEO Stefan Ehrlich-Adám emphasized the following: "30 years of EVVA in the Czech Republic represents a 30-year success story. Since the acquisition of GUARD in 2008, we also have a second branch in the Czech Republic. With state-of-the-art architecture, state-of-the-art infrastructure, we are looking forward to the next 30 years." The mayor of Tišnov also attended the festivities and sent his congratulations: "I greet you from Tišnov Town Hall and wish EVVA further good intentions and much success for the future." Another highlight of the festivities was the entry in the Czech Book of Records for the longest functioning locking cylinder ever produced in the Czech Republic, measuring 120 cm in length.
Although EVVA has been synonymous with innovation for more than 100 years, the traditional company has always been concerned with preserving what is valuable. Therefore, finds from the recent and late Stone Age (4,000 years B.C.) and the Bronze Age (1,500-800 B.C.). made during the construction work were exhumed and preserved in close cooperation with the Prague Archaeological Museum. Some of the finds were loaned to EVVA for an exhibition in the new building in Tišnov.
For 100 years, EVVA has been synonymous with mechanical and electronic access systems at the highest technical level. What began in 1919 with the founding of the "Erfindungs-Versuchs-Verwertungs-Anstalt" (EVVA) has remained a central component of our corporate philosophy to this day: we conduct our own research, develop ourselves and also manufacture our innovative access systems ourselves. EVVA is a family business and internationally among the most successful companies in the industry: more than 300 patents are currently registered, we are present in ten European markets with ten branches and are represented by a network of distributors from all over the world.
