VELUX® introduces a new generation of glass rooflights for flat roofs with unobstructed views and maximum natural light

This is a new generation of innovative windows with a minimalist design consisting of edge-to-edge glass that complements VELUX®'s existing range of skylights for flat roofs.

Responding to the ever-changing needs of homeowners, VELUX is launching a flat-glazed rooflight and a curved-glazed rooflight with a minimalist and modern design. These unique and innovative windows offer an undisturbed view of the sky, bring even more daylight into the home and are a desirable showpiece for any contemporary home.

A unique, new design of windows for flat roofs

The new glass rooflights have a unique design consisting of edge-to-edge glass, allowing as much as 52% more daylight to enter the home compared to the previous generation of flat roof windows. Heat-resistant and blackout blinds can be discreetly placed in the base structure between the bottom plate and the outer glass. Thus, daylight, design or view is not compromised when the blinds are not in use.

The skylights are compatible with VELUX ACTIVE with NETATMO and control via the VELUX app, making smarthome integration and operation a breeze. In addition, the design offers excellent noise reduction, which creates both a healthier and quieter indoor environment. 

The windows also have a number of important safety features. The laminated glass on the inside prevents significant breakage attempts. The exterior glass is tempered with sealant, making the skylight resilient even under the harshest weather conditions.
