Four Bostik Premium Aware adhesives and sealants in possession of EPD

In mid-2019, Bostik was the first in the industry to introduce a range of adhesives and sealants whose every product has at least one independent sustainability certification, combined with the highest quality available: Bostik Premium Aware. Four products now also hold an EPD, the internationally recognized environmental product declaration. EPDs give architects, designers and other professionals a better understanding of a product's environmental impact. This makes these products even more compliant with international sustainability standards for projects.

The hybrid sealant and adhesive with no staining Bostik H750 SEAL'N'BOND PREMIUM, the strong construction and assembly adhesive with no edge zone contamination Bostik H980 HIGH TACK PREMIUM, the broadly applicable hybrid sealant Bostik H995 PREMIUM ALLROUND and the all-round silicone sealant with low modulus Bostik S960 SILICONE NON STAINING recently obtained the EPD product declaration. The chemical composition of the products falls under the EPD models of FEICA (Association of the European Adhesives and Sealants Industry) and has been verified by IBU (Institut Bauen und Umwelt e.V.). SPD proves good environmental performance
EPDs (Environmental Product Declaration) show the environmental impact of a product throughout its life cycle. They are proof of good environmental performance of the products, based on objective, transparent and scientifically determined information. 
With its Premium Aware products, Bostik was already ahead of legal requirements. EPDs additionally stimulate the demand for construction products that are less harmful to the environment. Architects, designers and contractors are increasingly using this information so that they can be sure that materials and products do not have a negative impact on their sustainable projects. Bostik also wants to obtain an EPD for the remaining Bostik Premium Aware products.
