New HECO-TOPIX-plus combines features of four product families

Until now, various screw families from HECO have perfectly fulfilled the needs of carpenters and joiners. However, the new HECO-TOPIX-plus now replaces 4 product families and combines the most important features and new innovative functions in one new product, which is suitable for all applications the timber construction and woodworking.

MagicClose: contraction effect

HECO is known for its full-thread screws with variable threads that pull wooden components together without pre-tensioning. This MagicClose effect has been optimized for the new HECO-TOPIX-plus. 

GripFit: mechanical connection

The newly developed GripFit technology ensures an optimal fit of the HECO-Drive bit and the HECO-Drive screw head. The HD bit is tapered so that the screw is mechanically held onto the bit by friction. Even stainless steel screws remain firmly attached to the HD bit even though they are not magnetic. This allows screw jobs to be performed with one hand. With the new uniform drive concept, multiple screw diameters can be processed without changing the bit. 

PerfectPitch: optimized thread

PerfectPitch is an adjustment of the thread pitch per screw length: for short screws, a small rise prevents dilling and the small pitch anchors more thread in the wood. Long screws, on the other hand, have a high pitch so they can be quickly threaded into the wood.
