Duco RoofFan takes collective exhaust with demand control to the next level

The Duco RoofFan is a pressure-controlled roof fan that provides collective exhaust within Duco's Demand-Driven Natural Ventilation systems. The pressure control ensures perfect distribution of flow rates in stacked housing construction. Combined with the Intelli Air Valve or iAV, the Duco RoofFan provides the solution for the first complete demand-controlled collective C system. With this introduction, Duco is literally taking its range of sustainable ventilation solutions to new heights.

Easy to install and maintain

Ease of installation trumps all! The RoofFan weighs only 11 kilograms. Its simple design allows one person to install this lightweight. Also, the roof fan is extremely easy to maintain. There are no loose circuit boards under the hood. The power supply and all external connections are inside the working switch for direct accessibility. This makes the roof fan easy to access. The backward-curved blades of the impeller not only makes the RoofFan less susceptible to fouling, but also allows for sharp reverse rotation. With its maximum flow rate of up to 3,000 m³/h at 150 Pa, each living area is ventilated separately and demand-controlled.

Smart demand management through iAVs

No smart demand control without the intelligent control valve Intelli Air Valve. Depending on the project, the iAV - with measurement based on CO₂- or humidity - the choice between zonal or locally controlled demand control. Moreover, the entire ventilation system can be constructed completely as desired. For example, the Intelli Air Valve functions on its own, but can also be controlled if desired thanks to one or more optional Control Switches or sensor(s). The ability to set up wireless communication with electronically controlled ventilation grilles is an added bonus.
