With Solatube® you can enjoy naturally lit rooms and a pleasant indoor temperature all year round. Solatube® daylight systems bring daylight to every conceivable place under the roof. Solatube® filters solar heat and harmful UV radiation from daylight through specific UV filters. Solatube® brings daylight under your roof and at the same time ensures a pleasant indoor temperature. Even during hot summer days.
During cold days, the indoor temperature remains pleasant and constant. Due to the high insulation value of Solatube®, you have no heat loss in winter. Because Solatube® has a small diameter, the installation requires only small openings in your roof. Combined with the good U-value, the Solatube daylighting system is a sustainable choice.
A Solatube® daylight system fits every roof. Whether you have a thatched roof, a tiled roof, a slate roof, a flat roof, sandwich panels from e.g. Falk or Kingspan or a green roof; Solatube® always has the perfect fit. Solatube® daylight domes can be placed anywhere on the roof. Through daylight tubes we bring light to the desired space. No matter how big or small the space under your roof is; Solatube® brings daylight inside.
A flat dome is designed for pitched roofs. The flat dome captures daylight and transports the light through a system of tubes to the desired space. The difference with a round dome is that the flat dome provides less interruption to the roof surface. This is ideal for monumental properties because aesthetically it is barely visible. With a flat dome, the historic facade appearance is preserved.
Daylight domes that capture daylight can be placed anywhere on your roof. Due to the small diameter, the domes take up almost no space. This allows you to make the best use of your roof area. Perhaps you already have solar panels on your roof or are thinking about installing a solar water heater. This is no problem for installing a daylight system. Also important: Solatube® is extremely low-maintenance. This is very handy when your daylight domes are placed in places that are difficult to reach.
