Windows safely on ventilation mode while maintaining Police Quality Mark Safe Living!

Safety comes first; that includes windows that are tilted. With the nice weather approaching, many people will let fresh air into their homes by putting windows in the tilt position. Still, this poses a risk, as evidenced by the videos on social media warning how easily burglars gain access to windows that are in the tilt position. However, these uninvited guests will have nothing to worry about when working with MACO's SECUAIR.

From the outside in with a backpack full of experience

We speak with Antoine Hussaarts, the brand new MULTI Product Manager at MACO. Hussaarts joined the company in 1999 in the role of Account Manager, and since January 1, 2020, he has been allowed to take charge of all disciplines at MACO around the window for the Dutch market. With his extensive experience in the field, he knows perfectly how to make the translation between market, product and MACO. So he brings his experience outside to the inside, with a solid knowledge of carpentry and plastic processors.

Within MACO, he is seen as the originator of hardware for outward-turning windows with concealed hinges for plastic, with which MACO was the first to distinguish itself in the plastic market. His competencies include the certification of products for the Dutch market, data for controlling machines for both wood and plastic, and MACO's complete range of hardware.

Antoine's region is now in good hands with Henk de Haan, allowing Antoine to focus to the maximum on his new position as product manager. That includes the SECUAIR product.

SECUAIR is retrofittable, with locking plates of 30 mm and a shaft size of 13 mm. "This makes this system applicable to both plastic and wood. The air throughput has been tested. The test values complement adjustable ventilation grilles. In today's BENG home, ventilation is vital. With SECUAIR, this can be done in a safe way."

According to Hussaarts, the operation is feather light. "Handle down means window closed, handle perpendicular means turn position, handle diagonal means full tilt position and handle up means safe ventilation position.
