Convenience and sustainability go hand in hand

In fact, we all have a responsibility to take good care of our society so that it is also livable for our children and future generations. At Intratone, they think about the convenience of the user but at the same time about the environment with the DINA wireless intercom system and remote and real-time manageable badges and receivers for access control, among others.

Intratone, the best-selling intercom system in France, is now available on the Dutch and Belgian markets. This brand from the French company Cogelec is known for its continuous innovations and beautiful design.

"We recently introduced DINA, a new intercom system with individual LCD displays with bell function and easily managed remotely via a secure management platform. By a convenient timeslot option allows flexible naming per resident. This system is available for flush and surface mounting," said Clément Robert, country sales manager Benelux. "With the Intratone XL package, customers now receive an extra-long 10-year warranty on all hardware of the DINA intercom system, combined with the temporarily free digital communication display for installation at the
entrance or next to the elevator, for example."

Real-time communication with residents

The Intratone digital communication panel allows real-time communication with residents. New information can be seen within seconds, making residents so instantly aware of information intended for them. With a few presses of a keyboard, the administrator can modify or delete the information. For very urgent messages, an SMS function can also be used, reaching every resident by phone, no matter where he or she is at the time. The LCD screen of the communication panel is vandal-proof due to the laminated glass.

"If elevator maintenance is scheduled or other work is planned, the manager easily enters that information remotely through a secure, online management platform. This way, everyone is immediately aware of what is about to happen," Robert explains.
"Moreover, those messages can be set for the entire building, as well as only for the residents of a particular wing or floor. That way, residents only get to read information relevant and current to them."

Remote access control

Intratone is also introducing remote and real-time manageable badges and receivers for access control. This makes granting access to external parties a simple operation. New badges and receivers can be programmed in no time via the online platform, and hands-free badges and proximity readers are also among the options. These allow access doors to be opened without removing the badge from the bag or pocket. The convenient timeslot function allows the user to grant parties access only at set times. And via the various receivers, individual rooms such as a technical room, garage or bicycle storage can be easily secured. Even a remote control is among the options.

"If a resident loses the badge, it can be deactivated in real time with a few clicks via the secure online management platform," adds the country sales manager Benelux. "The badges are available in several distinctive colors. Residents simply provide the color of the lost badge and thus no precious time is lost looking for a serial number, and access can be blocked immediately."

Convenience and sustainability

At Intratone, they believe that convenience and sustainability should go hand in hand. That's why all access management works through a secure online management platform from desktop, tablet or even cell phone. This eliminates the need for a property manager to be on site for name changes or access control. Think of all the car trips saved this way.

"This is a convenience for the property manager as well as being better for the environment," Clément Robert concludes. "Our new intercom system with LCD display, DINA, is wireless. Residents grant access via their own smartphone; an indoor station in the home is not required. This means huge material savings."
