As a family business, it has set itself the goal of being a reliable and long-lasting partner, with quality of paramount importance. Woelm GmbH is located not far from the Dutch and Belgian borders, in Heiligenhaus, Germany. Even closer, their products can be admired at the upcoming Polyclose in Ghent.
"In Heiligenhaus we have the entire production process under one roof, from extrusion, casting, machining, welding, surface treatment to assembly and logistics," says managing director Karl Kristian Woelm.
"For interior sliding doors, we have developed two sliding door systems," continues Woelm. "These are constantly being further developed and are brought under the HELM brand name. The HELM Modul.Konzept for sliding doors made of wood and glass (up to 150 kg sash weight) impresses with its easy assembly and numerous innovative expansion options. It can be used to create sliding doors from a single sash up to a six-fold telescopic sash arrangement."

The HELM GT series enables a filigree and elegant construction of sliding doors made of glass. "With these, one can create a spatial layout in transparent ways," Woelm said. "A combination can also be laid with fixed glass sections." Those who like to go big can choose HELM sliding doors from the profile series HELM 100 to HELM 700. "With these, sash weights of up to 2000 kg can be realized. Those who want to go even further can use special track rollers, which make it possible to go up to 8000 kg. New in this range is the possibility to motorize the sliding door, with our 230 V motor. With additional control accessories, this motor can also be operated with SmartHome and HomeLink."
Under the brand name KWS, Woelm produces all kinds of solutions in the field of door hardware. "This includes accessories such as door stoppers and door holdbacks, which are offered in a large selection. The KWS door handles also convince with a comprehensive range, with high quality and trouble-free functionality. We pay great attention to design and material. We are currently working on versions in stainless steel 316 V4A and aluminum, with a pure, angular and aesthetic design. We will proudly present these to the public at Polyclose," Woelm concludes.
