Zelhem/Schijndel, October 15, 2026 – Venster Techniek of Zelhem and ISC of Schijndel are joining forces following the entry of investment firm Intersaction. The two Dutch manufacturers of sills and related products for the window frame market aim to achieve further growth by leveraging their complementary market positions. Jurgen Rensen of Venster Techniek and Erik Smits of ISC are reinvesting and will remain actively involved in their companies. The transaction was advised by M&A advisor Marktlink.
Window Engineering and ISC They operate in the same market and both primarily manufacture fiberglass composite sill systems, but each has its own area of expertise. Venster Techniek has traditionally held a strong position in sills for wooden window frames and is also growing in the market for plastic window frames. ISC, on the other hand, has a strong position among manufacturers of plastic window frames. Thanks to their complementary expertise, both companies see opportunities to serve customers more quickly and comprehensively. Following the transaction, Venster Techniek and ISC expect combined revenue of more than twenty million euros.
Demand for thresholds and related products is driven by new construction, renovation, and stricter energy performance requirements for homes and buildings. In addition, both companies expect foreign demand for high-performance low-profile sills to continue to grow. To respond to this trend and remain competitive, Venster Techniek and ISC, together with Intersaction, are continuing to invest in digitization, automation, and scalable production processes. Greater attention is also being paid to making products and production more sustainable.
Venster Techniek was founded in Zelhem in 1999 and has approximately 50 employees. The company serves more than 200 customers and develops and manufactures fiberglass-reinforced composite sills and related products. In recent years, the company has invested in areas such as automation, digitization, product development, and strengthening its management team.
Jurgen Rensen, director of Venster Techniek: “In recent years, we have further developed Venster Techniek both organizationally and operationally and have invested heavily in automation and digitization. At the same time, we still see ample room for further growth. ISC operates in the same market but has different areas of expertise and customer relationships. With Intersaction as a co-shareholder, we can use that foundation to further invest in the next phase of growth for both companies.”

ISC was founded in 2007 and has approximately 35 employees. The company develops and manufactures fiberglass composite sill systems for plastic and wooden window frames. ISC possesses in-house expertise in engineering, composite processing, and custom manufacturing, and in recent years has invested in areas such as innovation and digital workflows.
Erik Smits, CEO of ISC: “Our market is increasingly demanding digitization and efficient, scalable production. At the same time, ISC and Venster Techniek complement each other perfectly. ISC has a strong foundation in the plastic window frame market, while Venster Techniek has traditionally been stronger in sills for wooden window frames. As a result, we see opportunities to share knowledge and development capabilities and to further grow both companies, each drawing on its own expertise.”
The transaction is structured in such a way that the current entrepreneurs and key figures will remain involved in the next phase of growth. Erik Smits is reinvesting in the combined entity and will remain active within ISC. His son Rai, who already plays a leading operational role within the organization, is also investing in the deal. Alfred-Jan van Berkel will eventually retire but will remain involved with the company for the time being. On the Venster Techniek side, CFO Willem Huijink and Operations Manager Vincent Surenbroek are also investing in the deal.
Marktlink He had been involved with Venster Techniek for some time and guided the company as it prepared for its next phase of growth. When the opportunity arose to join forces with ISC, the two companies positioned themselves as a combined entity in the investment market.
Joep van den Enk, partner at Marktlink: “Venster Techniek and ISC are both strong, independent companies, each with its own area of expertise. By positioning them together, we created a broader proposition with greater scale, technical expertise, and access to different segments of the window frame market. This provided a stronger starting position than if both companies had approached an investor separately. We then conducted a targeted search for a partner that was a good fit for both the entrepreneurs and the growth plans of both companies.”
Intersection As an investor, it is acquiring a majority stake in the Venster Techniek and ISC combination. The investor focuses on medium-sized companies in the manufacturing industry, technical trade, and services, typically with EBITDA between €3 million and €10 million. Intersaction supports management teams in growth, professionalization, and business succession. Following the transaction, Venster Techniek and ISC will continue to operate in the market based on their own expertise.
