Day lace, more than just a finish

For most people it is not noticeable, but between the window frame and the interior wall there is a gap that is finished with a sash trim. This finish greatly affects the appearance of the entire frame. To show you what kind of looks are possible, we have made an overview with all possible flashing finishes. Now you know exactly what you want!

A day side literally means a straight, beveled or profiled inside of a window that is fixed perpendicular to the wall. Colloquially, the inside finish of the sides and top of a window frame (the bottom is usually finished with a window sill). The reason for applying reveal finishes are to fill in the gaps in the "bare" frame to eliminate thermal bridges and to get a tight finished frame as a result. Sidings can serve to clad the inside of the frame but there are also variants that also include part of the inside wall. A siding is installed in most cases with a joining adhesive such as High-Tack adhesive available from us.

Our sash finishes are available in a smooth or a wood-grain finish. The most common colors are mainly white and cream because usually the frame also consists of this color. However, there are some finishes that can be supplied with a wood grain texture film in a different trend color to match the color of the frame.

Full foam quarter round finish profile

A full foam profile for a simple and small finishing of the window frame. This profile is applicable to any type of window frame but only for filling small gaps or holes. Attached directly to the substrate, these profiles have a smooth or textured surface and have a rounded appearance.

Full foam square finishing profile

A full foam profile for a simple and small finishing of the window frame. This profile is applicable to any type of window frame but only for filling small gaps or holes. These profiles are attached directly to the substrate and have a smooth or textured surface and have a sharp rounding.

Fullfoam finishing profiles (smooth and textured)

A full foam finishing profile for easy finishing of the reveal side. This finishing profile is applicable to any type of window frame and serves to fill holes and gaps in medium and small sizes. These profiles are attached directly to the substrate and have a good connection due to the ribbed surface and have a smooth surface or with textured film.

Full foam finishing plinth

A full foam finish skirting board for covering holes or gaps on the inside of the window frame. A simple finish that connects directly to the substrate. This profile is only available in a smooth finish.

Hollow chamber angle profile

A hollow chamber profile for finishing unilateral corners on the frame. This profile has a sharp nose finish. This panel requires no further finishing and can be attached directly to the substrate. This panel is available in different colors*.

2-piece lace trim

This hollow chamber profile has been specially developed as a day side finish to finish dissimilar corners. This profile consists of 2 parts which are attached to each other (day side and header bar). These profiles have a sharp nose finish. This panel requires no further finishing and can be attached directly to the substrate. This panel is available in a smooth version or with a textured film applied as a top layer.

Equilateral corner profile

A PVC-UE profile for finishing an equilateral corner on the frame. The choice is either a rounded or a sharp corner finish. This gives a simple and clean finish with either a rounded or a sharp corner finish. This panel requires no further finishing and can be attached directly to the substrate. This panel is available in different colors*

Folding corner profile
